The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a good choice if you’re looking for an affordable mop and Robot Mop Vacuum vacuum. It’s got a fantastic mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.
In the course of testing, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard floors. It doesn’t employ LIDAR however, as cheaper models do, to locate your home.
1. IRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the top-rated robots. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, including the dirt compartment integrated into the base of charging. The robot will learn your habits of cleaning, and recommend automatic vacuum and mop robot schedules to give you an effortless cleaning experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the touch of one button. You can choose an overall clean that emphasizes cleaning up larger debris like cereal and rice, or opt for two thorough maps of your space to ensure your entire home gets a proper look.
This robot vac performs well on both bare floors and low-pile carpet. It is able to pick up pet hair and sucks large items up. It doesn’t lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It’s a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush however iRobot promises that the next models will be better.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It’s the first Roomba that uses a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug walls and furniture. It’s a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard, but we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also features superior filtration, which prevents micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It’s a nice claim however, we’re not convinced that it’s enough to justify the premium price tag.
Its smart navigation system uses sensors to remember the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers, and also to clean your entire house in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
Roborock Q Revo is a machine that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are as effective as those on higher-end models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.
The only issue is that it doesn’t have an additional rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it’s an affordable price to pay if you are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac’s tank for dust is also bigger than those on many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.
As for the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less abrasive than the high-powered ones, produce little noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. If it comes into contact with the wall or a furniture piece, it gently bumps into it before moving along.
What sets the Q Revo apart is that it’s designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is good at alerting you when something is in need of attention, such as the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.
You can also create and merge actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is useful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best performers in my test and was able to remove debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first attempt. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum with all the features you can want. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, plus a rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also comes with a sensor that detects obstacles more accurately and prevents it from falling on furniture or other objects.
The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its modern, sleeker design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still large–it is more than two feet in both height and depth, and weighs almost four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.
This version is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.
The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that can be used even when you’re not at home. It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature that allows you to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of simply following a predetermined path.
The X2 Omni is the best mopping robot. Its mop pads rotating scrub away tough stains, and its motor produces a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is excellent, and it increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we’ve seen on a consumer-grade robot.

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that offers a number of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It has the ability to create precise floor maps, recognize various flooring types and is one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are nice but they also make the L10s more of a premium category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners want.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor robot mop vacuum cleaning machine. It’s tall and slim, with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper that helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving around the house. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, you’ll find a single button that essentially acts as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and transmit it back to its base station. The circular menu in the center of the control panel lets you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will bring up the settings menu in which you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra interacts with your home robot vacuum.
